Makerstoun 

The Makerstoun War Memorial is in the most wonderful
rural location, just outside the village. It is high up, so the views around are
extensive, to the south is an excellent view towards The Cheviot.
A hint of the view can be seen behind the tree, with
the snow covered Cheviots in the distance
